The Yard Hostler is responsible for the efficient and safe movement of vehicles within the yard, ensuring smooth yard operations while enforcing safety standards. This role operates on a fixed shift schedule with no travel required beyond the yard premises.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily yard operations to maintain flow and organization
- Move vehicles safely and efficiently within the yard
- Enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and incidents
- Prepare and submit accurate reports related to yard activities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 year experience in yard hostling
- Forklift operation skills
- Clean driving record

- Knowledge of safety compliance standards
- Strong communication skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Experience operating forklifts
