Step into a vital role supporting student success in a dynamic school environment! As a contract occupational therapist, you’ll work with K-8 students, making a difference across 2-4 school sites. With trimester-based contracts (August–November, November–January, January–end-of-school-year), you’ll have stability while enjoying variety in your day-to-day work. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., allowing evenings and weekends free for your personal pursuits.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state OT license (or eligible for licensure)
  • Experience in educational settings and working with K-8 students preferred
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to write IEPs, document progress, and contribute to team meetings
  • Familiarity with supporting a caseload of 55–60 students over multiple locations
  • Experience working with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students’ educational goals
  • Write and maintain timely, comprehensive IEPs and documentation on student progress
  • Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, working closely with the multidisciplinary team
  • Attend school site events as part of a collaborative support team
  • Supervise and collaborate with COTAs to deliver effective student interventions
  • Travel between 2–4 sites to manage a K-8 caseload while ensuring high-quality service
