Litigation Associate (4–6 Years) – Complex Commercial Litigation
Direct Counsel represents a well-regarded national law firm seeking a Litigation Associate to join its San Francisco office. This is a strong opportunity to work on complex commercial disputes within a fast-paced, collaborative litigation team.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle all phases of complex commercial litigation, from pleadings through trial preparation
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, and develop case strategy
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and courtroom proceedings
- Collaborate with team members to manage cases efficiently and meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
- 4–6 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience with depositions, motion practice, written discovery and e-discovery
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Experience at a large or boutique law firm preferred
- Experience with business disputes, commercial landlord tenant, corporate governance, and bankruptcy.is a plus
- J.D. and active CA Bar admission required
