Job Description Job SummaryWe are looking for an Automotive Technician - R&I to join our team.
Requirements / Qualifications – Auto Body R&I Technician
- Prior experience in auto body repair, disassembly, and reassembly (R&I) preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle components, including mechanical, electrical, and structural systems
- Ability to safely remove and reinstall parts such as bumpers, panels, lights, trim, and interior components
- Experience working with a wide range of vehicle makes and models (foreign and domestic)
- Basic understanding of OEM repair procedures and safety standards
- Ability to identify damaged or missing parts and communicate with estimators and technicians
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Ability to read and follow repair orders and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, reaching)
- I-CAR certification (preferred but not required)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented attitude
Qualifications
- Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
- Strong customer service and communications skills are required
