Job Summary:
The Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) Operator is responsible for safely operating powered pallet jacks to move, locate, stack, and load/unload products within a warehouse or distribution center. This role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an electric pallet jack to transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers
- Pick and stage orders accurately based on pick sheets or RF scanners
- Stack and organize pallets in designated areas
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Inspect equipment daily and report any mechanical issues
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed (wrapping pallets, labeling, sorting, etc.)
