American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Telemetry position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of stepdown, PCU, ICU, or telemetry experience.

- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in an acute hospital setting
- 6-bed PCU department with a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekend rotation required
- Floating within scope of practice required to meet facility needs
- Block scheduling is not available
- Epic EMR used

Requirements\n

- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a stepdown, PCU, ICU, or telemetry setting
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
