Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification (California state requirements)
- Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting thorough evaluations, initials, and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP process, and compliance documentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and families
- Adaptability to meet changing school needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and initial assessments
- Develop and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans
- Participate in the IEP process, contributing to individualized student planning
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document findings, recommendations, and interventions in compliance with education guidelines
