Key Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist certification (California state requirements)
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience conducting thorough evaluations, initials, and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP process, and compliance documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and families
  • Adaptability to meet changing school needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and initial assessments
  • Develop and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Participate in the IEP process, contributing to individualized student planning
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Document findings, recommendations, and interventions in compliance with education guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and outside agencies
