Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California (required)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Proficiency supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong understanding of IEP development and maintenance
- Effective communication skills for consultative collaboration with educators and families
- Comfortable with both direct and indirect therapy service delivery models
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy interventions to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Monitor, document, and report student progress in accordance with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Offer consultative support and training for teachers, aides, and other staff
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Adapt therapy plans to align with individual student needs and school resources
