Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Physical Therapist working with an engaging K-12 student population. This full-time contract role offers the chance to make a significant difference in students’ lives through direct therapy services, consultative support, and collaborative monitoring of progress. With a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week and a manageable caseload of approximately 35 students, you’ll be well-positioned to deliver impactful therapy and work closely with educational teams near San Bernardino, CA.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in California (required)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Proficiency supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and maintenance
  • Effective communication skills for consultative collaboration with educators and families
  • Comfortable with both direct and indirect therapy service delivery models

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy interventions to a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress in accordance with IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer consultative support and training for teachers, aides, and other staff
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Adapt therapy plans to align with individual student needs and school resources
