Job Description
This role focuses on the visual inspection and assembly of micro-electronic and semiconductor parts in a clean-room manufacturing environment. You will spend most of your day working with a microscope to inspect parts, perform dimensional measurements, operate curing equipment, and accurately record production data. Reliability, attention to detail, and comfort with repetitive, hands-on tasks are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of micro-electronic and semiconductor parts using a microscope for approximately 6–8 hours per day.
- Conduct dimensional measurements using a microscope and other precision measuring tools to verify product specifications.
- Inspect parts in a clean-room environment, ensuring adherence to strict cleanliness and quality standards.
- Assemble parts and components, with or without the use of a microscope, following established work instructions and procedures.
- Operate clean-room equipment and curing equipment to process and cure parts as required.
- Use small hand tools such as tweezers and other measuring tools to handle and manipulate delicate components.
- Accurately record inspection results, measurements, and other production data in the appropriate logs or systems.
- Rack and organize parts and assemblies to maintain orderly workflow and traceability.
- Follow all clean-room protocols, safety guidelines, and manufacturing procedures at all times.
- Demonstrate consistent reliability by arriving on time, completing assigned tasks, and supporting production schedules.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in micro-electronic or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Experience working in clean-room production settings.
- Familiarity with inspection, assembly, and racking processes in a manufacturing context.
- Comfort with repetitive, hands-on tasks that require focus and fine motor skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection and production data.
Work Environment
This position is based in a clean-room micro-electronic manufacturing and production facility. You will work primarily at a workstation equipped with a microscope and other precision measuring tools, handling small semiconductor components and assemblies. The environment follows strict cleanliness and contamination-control protocols.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $18.50/hr.
