Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a Mod/Severe or ESN Special Education Teacher in the Antioch, CA area. From August 5, 2026, through June 7, 2027, you will be a key resource for elementary and middle school learners, helping them experience growth and success throughout their academic journey. Four positions are available, supporting students with moderate to severe needs in specially designed classrooms.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (ESN or Moderate/Severe required)
  • Experience supporting students with exceptional needs in K-8 settings
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
  • Outstanding communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Dedication to fostering positive, inclusive learning environments

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, tailored instruction to students in K-2 (10 students), 3-5 (11 students), or 6-8 (14 students) caseloads
  • Develop, implement, and track progress on IEPs in close partnership with families and school teams
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
  • Promote independence, communication, and advocacy for every student
  • Collaborate with aides, therapists, and administrators to deliver whole-child support
  • Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
