Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for state credential)
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data
- Strong understanding of special education processes and guidelines
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Compassionate approach to supporting students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
- Develop intervention strategies and support plans based on assessment findings
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insight
- Deliver individual and group counseling services as appropriate
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to enhance learning and behavioral outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
