Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for state credential)
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data
  • Strong understanding of special education processes and guidelines
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • Compassionate approach to supporting students from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop intervention strategies and support plans based on assessment findings
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insight
  • Deliver individual and group counseling services as appropriate
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to enhance learning and behavioral outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
