Job DescriptionAbout the Role:We are looking for enthusiastic drivers who are passionate about delivering exceptional service while ensuring safety and efficiency on the road. Currently, we are hiring for a full-time year round Class A Route Driver position. Local routes in Central Valley and Bay Area operating tractor/flatbed/forklift combination. Driver home daily. Work schedule is Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor/trailer/forklift combination to load and transport material in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and security.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance driving skills.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic.
