Step into a vital role supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming full school year. This in-person, contract opportunity offers a dynamic schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with the chance to make a genuine difference across multiple educational settings. You’ll collaborate with students primarily in elementary through high school and may provide home health support as needed. Your expertise will be valued throughout LA County, ensuring diverse professional experiences as you deliver high-quality speech and language services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to work at various sites and adapt to changing environments
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload and travel locally as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct intervention services in-person to students from elementary to high school grades
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation of services, goals, and progress
  • Support home health therapy sessions as assigned
