Compensation: $130,000 – $275,000 base salary + bonus\n

Annual Hours Expectation: 1,900\n

About The Role

We are seeking attorneys to join a growing Housing & Unlawful Detainer team handling landlord-tenant, habitability, and unlawful detainer matters across California. Candidates will work on complex, high-stakes litigation under the guidance of experienced trial attorneys. Flexible work arrangements, including remote options, are available.\n
\n
\nCandidates with 2+ years of experience in habitability and unlawful detainer litigation are preferred, though attorneys at all levels are encouraged to apply.\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Handle habitability and unlawful detainer matters in state and federal court
  • \n

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
  • \n

  • Conduct legal research and assist in case strategy development
  • \n

  • Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses for hearings and trials
  • \n

  • Participate in mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
  • \n

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-office litigation teams
  • \n

  • Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, updates, and risk management

  • \n

Qualifications

    \n
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • \n

  • Licensed and admitted to practice in California (required)
  • \n

  • 2+ years of experience in habitability/unlawful detainer litigation preferred; all experience levels encouraged
  • \n

  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • \n

  • Self-starter capable of managing cases independently while collaborating with a team

  • \n
