Salary: Based on Experience and Ability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $27-$35/hr based on experience
We are looking for someone to start immediately.
Qualifications
• High school or equivalent (preferred)
• 3-5 years’ experience (preferred)
Primary responsibilities
• Operate CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce metal parts.
• Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
• Position workpiece correctly on the lathe, or milling machine.
• Monitor and control feed rate and speed.
• Ensure workpiece is properly lubricated and/or cooled.
• Detect problems by listening for specific sounds.
• Monitor the accuracy of cuts.
• Replace dull cutting tools.
• Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications.
• Use manual and computer-controlled machinery.
• Write basic programs.
• Modify programs in response to problems.
Schedule:
Full-time: 40+ hours per week
Day shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
