Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Billing Coordinator with a minimum of three years of law firm billing experience and hands-on expertise using 3E billing software. This role is responsible for managing the full billing cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance with client guidelines, and exceptional service to attorneys and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete billing cycle for assigned attorneys and practice groups.
- Prepare, review, edit, and process client invoices in accordance with firm and client billing requirements.
- Utilize 3E billing software to generate, revise, and finalize invoices.
- Review time entries, rates, expenses, and billing narratives for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with attorneys, legal assistants, and clients to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to outside counsel guidelines and client-specific billing requirements.
- Process billing adjustments, write-offs, transfers, and credit memos as needed.
- Support electronic billing (eBilling) submissions and troubleshoot invoice rejections.
- Prepare billing reports and provide analysis to attorneys and management.
- Maintain accurate billing records and ensure timely month-end billing completion.
- Assist with collections support and accounts receivable follow-up when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of legal billing experience within a law firm environment.
- Previous hands-on experience with 3E billing software required.
- Strong knowledge of legal billing processes, eBilling platforms, and client billing guidelines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
