Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Barista to join our mobile coffee bar in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality coffee and beverage experiences, provide exceptional guest service, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to specialty coffee culture. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take beverage and food orders with a positive, professional attitude.
- Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages including espresso-based drinks, iced coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per company standards and recipes.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, blenders, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Accurately handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including cash and digital payments.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines including proper food handling protocols.
- Collaborate with teammates to support a smooth and efficient workflow.
Requirements
- 1+ years barista, coffee, or hospitality experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule including mornings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to ~30 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with POS systems (e.g., Toast, Square).
- California Food Handlers Card.
