Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in telespeech services to support students in an educational setting located in Moreno Valley, CA. This role focuses on delivering virtual speech-language therapy to enhance communication skills and support student success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing telespeech therapy services aligned with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Creating and implementing effective treatment plans tailored for a virtual environment
- Collaborating with educators and caregivers to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation of sessions and progress reports
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven experience delivering teletherapy services in school settings
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students remotely
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to school-based therapy
