Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher, working with students to foster growth, engagement, and positive behavioral support in a school-based environment near Pacifica, California. In this full-time contract role, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing your BCBA expertise to design and implement effective behavior intervention plans and adapt physical education programs for students with varying abilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Previous experience in school settings or working with children preferred
  • Skilled in communicating and collaborating with staff, families, and other professionals
  • Strong commitment to supporting diverse learners and creating inclusive, supportive environments

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customized adaptive physical education programs for students with unique needs
  • Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, therapists, and families to ensure coordinated support
  • Use your BCBA background to design and oversee effective behavioral interventions
  • Support students’ physical, social, and emotional growth through tailored instruction
  • Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with all district and regulatory guidelines
