Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Special Education professional for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract position is available for the 2026–2027 academic year, focusing on 4th to 6th-grade students in an Elementary Moderate/Severe (ESN) program. The assignment runs from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027.
Work within a collaborative educational setting, tailoring interventions and support strategies to help students reach their fullest potential. Your expertise will empower young learners, positively influencing their academic and social growth.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid California ESN (Extensive Support Needs) or Moderate/Severe Credential is required
- Previous experience with elementary-aged learners in a mod/severe setting strongly preferred
- Skill in developing, implementing, and reviewing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction for diverse needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and behavior interventions for 4th–6th grade students
- Facilitate IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Modify curriculum to meet each student’s academic and developmental needs
- Provide direct instruction in both group and one-on-one settings
- Consult with general educators and related service providers to ensure integrated support
- Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
