This assignment focuses on covering a maternity leave and offers a collaborative environment alongside a dedicated SLP and SLPA, serving three classrooms with medically fragile students.

  • Comfortable managing the unique needs of medically fragile student populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored speech and language therapy to students in medically fragile classrooms
  • Collaborate with another SLP, an SLPA, and classroom staff to align on student goals
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide expert recommendations regarding AAC device use, training, and integration
  • Maintain detailed records of progress and communicate effectively with families and staff
  • Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for all students

This role is ideal for professionals seeking to build meaningful relationships with students and collaborate with a passionate, knowledgeable team. With hours ranging from 32.5 to 35 weekly, you can dedicate your time and attention to making a significant difference in student outcomes while enjoying a contract structure that provides balance.
