This full-time contract opportunity involves working across Los Angeles County, offering a diverse range of experiences in both elementary and high school settings. If you thrive in a role where each day brings new opportunities to engage, problem-solve, and positively impact student wellness, this position is an excellent fit. The assignment covers the full school year and requires in-person service delivery, ensuring that you build meaningful relationships with students and staff.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and related documentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, students, and families
  • Flexible mindset, comfortable supporting multiple school sites across LA County
  • Reliable transportation for travel between locations
  • Capacity to occasionally assist with home health services
  • Energetic, communicative, and self-motivated

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for elementary through high school students
  • Develop, implement, and track individualized intervention plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support within school environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and complete necessary documentation promptly
  • Provide insights and strategies for classroom accommodations as needed
  • Be adaptable to the evolving needs of each school site

This is a rewarding contract position offering 37.5 hours per week over the entire school year, with the chance to work alongside a passionate educational community. If you’re ready to take your physical therapy skills on the road and have a wide-ranging impact, we’d love to learn more about you. Apply today and become a valued partner in students’ academic and personal success!

Compensation for this position ranges from $43.20 to $73.20. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
