Key Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and related documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, students, and families
- Flexible mindset, comfortable supporting multiple school sites across LA County
- Reliable transportation for travel between locations
- Capacity to occasionally assist with home health services
- Energetic, communicative, and self-motivated
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for elementary through high school students
- Develop, implement, and track individualized intervention plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
- Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support within school environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and complete necessary documentation promptly
- Provide insights and strategies for classroom accommodations as needed
- Be adaptable to the evolving needs of each school site
