Job DescriptionPRST is looking for certified Journey Level/Mid-level Electricians to support Electrical Contractors in Oxnard, CA and throughout Ventura County. In this temporary role, you’ll earn $35 – $45 an hour, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.
- Install conduit, wiring, and electrical components such as panels, switchgears, lighting, and motors in commercial buildings.
- Work at heights operating scissor lifts and boom lifts.
- Make-up of de-energized of circuits.
- Connect de-energized fixtures.
- Diagnose malfunctions in systems and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan wiring layouts.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, inspect electrical systems, and maintain a safe, clean job site.
- Mentor, train, and supervise apprentices and helper electricians on-site.

- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on commercial and/or residential construction job sites preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area.
- Have all of the tools of your trade (Wire strippers, fish tape, pliers, cutters, tester, multimmeter, drills, tape measure, hand benders, etc.) on hand and be able to bring them to your job site.
