Job Description

This Job is in Boise Idaho. We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of data center construction projects. This role will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has experience in mission-critical environments and a solid understanding of construction processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day project operations, schedules, and documentation
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance
  • Track RFIs, change orders, and project logs
  • Support procurement of materials and equipment
  • Monitor project progress and help identify and resolve issues
  • Assist with cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5+ years of experience in construction, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data center, mission-critical, or high-tech construction projects
  • Familiarity with semiconductor construction or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Knowledge of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes and turnover documentation
