At Glodow Nead Communications, we're looking for a creative, organized, and social-savvy Social Media Manager to help shape the digital voice of some of the world's most exciting hospitality, food, wine, travel, and lifestyle brands.

Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site, Embarcadero)
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience

What You'll Do
You'll manage multiple client social media accounts while partnering closely with our PR team to create compelling content, engage online communities, and keep brands culturally relevant, while:
- Creating engaging monthly content calendars, captions, and creative concepts for our clients
- Scheduling and publishing content across social platforms
- Monitoring conversations and actively engaging with online communities
- Keeping up with social trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices
- Managing influencer partnerships from outreach through reporting
- Collaborating with the PR team to align social and media strategies
- Assisting with content creation, editing, and copy refinement
- Supporting photo and video shoots
- Participating in rotating evening and weekend community management coverage
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field
- Familiarity with the hospitality, food & beverage, travel, or lifestyle industries is a big plus
- 2–3 years of experience in social media, account management, or client services
- Strong writing skills and a sharp eye for engaging social content
- Experience managing multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with social media management software (e.g., Agora Pulse and Sprout)
- Familiarity with influencer management and social listening tools (such as Meltwater)
- Experience creating graphics in Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Excellent organization, communication, and project management skills
- A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative attitude
- Ability to occasionally work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
