We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Manufacturing Assembler to join our team. As one of the final and most critical steps in our manufacturing process, you will take finished metal parts—which have already been cut, machined, deburred, and painted—and build them into high-quality final products.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys manual work, excels at following technical instructions, and takes pride in seeing a product come together cleanly from start to finish.
What You Will Do (Job Responsibilities)
- Final Product Assembly: Gather the correct finished parts and hardware required for each specific production order.
- Component Installation: Install screws, bolts, fasteners, brackets, rivets, decals, and other small components.
- Tool Operation: Utilize a variety of hand tools, pneumatic tools, pop-rivet guns, and basic assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
- Blueprint Navigation: Follow precise work instructions, drawings, part lists, or visual examples to ensure accuracy.
- Adaptable Workloads: Build products that range from simple assemblies requiring only a few pieces to complex jobs consisting of 60 to 70 small components.
- Quality Assurance: Check the alignment, hardware placement, fit, and overall appearance of the product before sending it to quality inspection.
- Organization: Keep different customer accounts, jobs, and parts separated and properly labeled at your workstation.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Stationary Hands-on Work: This is a hands-on manufacturing role performed at an assembly station or workbench.
- Physical Stamina: The work requires standing, reaching, handling small parts, and utilizing tools throughout the duration of your shift.
- Comfortable Setting: Our assembly area is typically cleaner and quieter than the heavy machining, welding, or deburring departments.
- Varying Product Sizes: Parts vary widely in size, ranging from small, intricate components to large frames and chassis.
