Job Details
- Create a fun, engaging, and motivating environment that promotes skill development and positive client outcomes
- Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs
- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA, BCaBA, or Case Manager
- Teach developmental and behavioral skills using ABA principles and techniques
- Effectively respond to and reduce challenging or disruptive behaviors
- Collect and record data on client goals using an online documentation system, including session summaries completed after each treatment session
- Support parents, teachers, and caregivers by modeling and teaching strategies across the childs natural environments
- Contribute creative ideas and activities to help clients achieve treatment goals
- Maintain consistent and effective communication with team members to ensure high-quality care and collaboration
Note: Prime service hours are typically Monday through Friday between 12:00 PM and 6:30 PM. Flexibility is required, and candidates with late afternoon availability are highly preferred.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred, OR currently enrolled in a college/university program studying Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and current car insurance required
- At least one year of experience working with children or teens with special needs highly preferred
- Experience working with children or teens preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, or currently in the process of obtaining certification (training provided)
- Must demonstrate compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting while interacting with clients
