Key Qualifications:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide, or related classroom support strongly preferred.
- Comfortable assisting students with toileting/diapering needs.
- Willingness to serve in either TK/K or 1st–5th grade classrooms, based on assignment.
- Capable of collaborating with teachers and staff to meet student needs.
- Will be required to complete para training prior to start.
- Reliable transportation essential—some commutes may require bridge travel with tolls; please consider location before applying.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom management, lesson preparation, and supporting individual students or small groups.
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Provide necessary care, including toileting/diapering support for students who require it.
- Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement.
- Adapt to various classroom sites as needed, with flexibility for coverage before or after school.
