Director of Accounting
Newport Beach, CA • Hybrid - 3 days in office
We’re looking for a CPA-credentialed accounting leader to take the reins for a Controller role for a client in Newport Beach, CA. The Controller will lead a large, talented team and own everything from month-end close to executive reporting with a seat at the table alongside senior leadership.

What You’ll Do
- Lead all general accounting operations: GL, AP, payroll, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Manage global banking relationships and the corporate credit card program
- Own the annual external audit, financial statements, and executive reporting packages
- Partner with the CFO and executive team on strategic projects and compliance
- Mentor and develop a large, multi-functional accounting team
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Accounting + CPA required
- 10+ years in financial accounting and reporting
- Proven team leadership skills and executive-level communication
- Microsoft Dynamics GP or Business Central experience a plus
