Provide expert clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting, ensuring patients receive appropriate medication therapy that aligns with established healthcare standards and protocols. This travel opportunity requires a licensed pharmacist to utilize clinical judgment, resolve drug-related issues, and support pharmaceutical care within a dynamic medical center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive pharmacy services to inpatients in medical-surgical and critical care units.
- Identify, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Comply with hospital, state, and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.
- Utilize pharmacy information systems and computer programs for medication management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support safe medication distribution processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current California Registered Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Minimum of one year hospital experience in an inpatient, decentralized pharmacy setting.
- Proficient with pharmacy software applications and Windows operating system.
- Strong clinical judgment and application of drug knowledge to patient care.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospital environment and work effectively within interprofessional teams.
