Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Execute food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items to minimize waste
- Uphold high standards of quality in food presentation and taste
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus
