Desired Experience & Skills:
- Previous work or volunteer experience in a school or childcare setting is highly valued
- Familiarity with strategies for assisting students with different learning needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to follow directions from lead teachers and adapt to shifting priorities throughout the day
- Patience, empathy, and commitment to supporting students’ academic and social development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and individualized support
- Work with students either one-on-one or in small groups to implement lesson plans and reinforce material
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and respectful classroom environment
- Support students with special needs to participate fully in classroom activities
- Supervise students during non-classroom activities such as recess, lunch, or field trips
- Contribute to accurate record-keeping and regular communication with teachers and staff
