Job Summary:As a Machine Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment. Responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of machinery, you will be a key contributor to our production process.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various types of manufacturing equipment- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in machinery- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to identify and resolve problems- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain optimal equipment performance- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repair history- Comply with all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications:- Expertise in machining and manufacturing processes- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Hands-on experience with the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery- Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment
Working Conditions:This position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, vibration, and the use of power tools and equipment. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and navigate various work areas.
Compensation and Benefits:This is a temp to hire, based position with a target pay rate of $35 per hour.
