Lagstein Law Firm is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Personal Injury team in Los Angeles, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your legal career in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where your work truly makes a difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize case files, medical records, and evidence documentation
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel
- Track and request medical records and bills for case preparation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management system entries
- Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings related to personal injury cases
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in personal injury law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
