Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle guest inquiries efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline front desk operations.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and professional demeanor
  • Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management software
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
  • Maintain excellent phone etiquette while assisting guests over the phone
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing inquiries
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
  • Assist with night audit procedures as needed to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Address guest concerns promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to guest services and safety

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
  • Experience with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including night audit procedures and resort operations, is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction skills
