Production Support Associate
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Support Associate for a manufacturing company in Torrance.
This position combines computer work with hands-on production support. The employee will process work orders using an ERP system and accurately measure, cut, stock, and distribute Velcro and webbing for the Sewing Department.
Responsibilities
- Process production work orders using the company’s ERP system while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Accurately measure, cut, and prepare Velcro and webbing for the Sewing Department.
- Stock Velcro, webbing, products, and materials in designated Sewing Department areas.
- Distribute products and materials to Sewing Department shelves and employees.
- Receive, count, and verify incoming products and materials for accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Process damaged or defective stock according to company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with other production support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be computer literate and able to learn the company’s ERP system.
- Must be able to accurately read and use a measuring tape.
- Experience measuring and cutting materials such as Velcro, webbing, fabric, straps, or similar products is preferred.
- Material handling, manufacturing, production support, or warehouse experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to safely operate cutting equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a willingness to learn.
