Position Summary
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Sr. Vice President is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, sales performance, and team development across multiple territories. This leader will oversee both the Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Sales while serving as an active partner to regional teams in the field.
This is not a traditional executive role focused on managing from a corporate office. We are looking for someone who leads by example—someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement, coaching teams, and rolling up their sleeves to help solve problems.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, is comfortable traveling extensively, and believes the best way to lead is by working alongside their teams.
Organization Overview
This role provides leadership across a growing multi-territory organization operating in 12 territories, generating approximately $47 million in annual revenue. The Sr. Vice President will play a key role in ensuring operational consistency, driving sales performance, developing leaders, and supporting continued growth across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership
Conduct operational and sales assessments to identify strengths, opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Work directly with local leadership and frontline teams to improve operational execution and sales performance.
- Lead on-site coaching, training, and development initiatives.
- Support new location launches, turnaround efforts, and performance improvement plans when needed.
Travel Requirements
Extensive travel is an essential part of this role.
- Expected travel is approximately 2–3 times per month throughout assigned territories.
- Regular visits to regions are required for coaching, assessments, training, and leadership support.
Operational Excellence
Partner with the VP of Operations to ensure consistency in operational standards, policies, and best practices.
- Evaluate workflows and recommend practical improvements that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure locations consistently execute company standards.
Sales Leadership
Partner with the VP of Sales to drive revenue growth across all territories.
- Work directly with the VP of Sales to coach sales leaders on effective sales techniques, customer engagement, and performance management.
- Review sales metrics, forecasts, and pipeline activity to identify trends and opportunities.
- Help develop and execute territory-specific growth strategies.
Leadership & Team Development
Build strong relationships with regional and local leaders.
- Mentor managers and develop future leadership talent.
- Foster accountability while creating a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example with a servant leadership mindset.
Strategic Execution
Translate company initiatives into actionable plans at the field level.
- Ensure consistent execution of company objectives across all territories.
- Provide regular feedback and recommendations to executive leadership based on field observations.
- Collaborate across departments to improve communication and execution.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, sales, multi-unit management, or a related field.
- Proven success leading multiple locations or territories.
- Experience developing leaders and improving operational performance.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and operational KPIs.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to quickly assess business challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Comfortable making decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
