Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medicare Specialist for a contract/temporary opportunity in South Pasadena, CA. This role is ideal for a bilingual Spanish professional with Medicare, health insurance, benefits administration, or client service experience who enjoys helping individuals understand their coverage options and navigate enrollment requirements.
The Medicare Specialist will support clients, insurance agents, and internal teams by reviewing applications, collecting documentation, answering Medicare-related questions, and ensuring accurate and timely enrollment submissions. This is a great opportunity to work in a client-focused insurance environment with supportive leadership, collaborative teamwork, and the opportunity to build valuable Medicare and health insurance expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Medicare plan inquiries, eligibility questions, enrollment timelines, and required documentation.
- Review Medicare applications and supporting paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Provide responsive customer service by communicating with clients by phone, email, and in person.
- Support insurance agents with Medicare-related administrative tasks, client follow-up, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate client records, enrollment information, policy updates, and database entries.
- Help address Medicare claims-related questions and resolve client concerns using sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $29.00 to $32.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: South Pasadena, CA.
