We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior CEQA/NEPA Environmental Planner in the Placer County area. This individual will also be managing and preparing CEQA and NEPA documents. This can be a hybrid position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing and preparing CEQA and NEPA documents, conducting and overseeing impact analysis
- Responsible for report preparation and document review
- Responsible for business development, staff development, mentoring and client care
- Responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary staff of an environmental firm
- Ability to prepare and manage complex environmental documentation for a wide variety of local and regional projects
- Will be responsible for building and expanding long-term client relationships and developing new business
- Work with the Director of CEQA/NEPA Services and the Operations Manager to assist with providing leadership, training, and mentorship for the CEQA/NEPA Group
- Minimal travel; may attend client meetings
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Science or related field
- 10 years plus experience preparing high-quality CEQA documents
- 3 years plus experience managing multidisciplinary projects
- Ability to show successful project management for Northern California cities and counties infrastructure agencies
- Proficiency with MSOffice Software
