Job Highlights
● Title: Contract Psychiatrist (Outpatient Forensic / Correctional)
● Location: Adult men’s state correctional facility – Delano, CA

● Schedule: In-person, any two days Mon-Fri, 7 a.m.–5 p.m. (2x10s) for at least 6 months
● Earning Potential: $300-695k/year depending on part time or full-time status
● Setting: Adult men’s outpatient-level psychiatric care in a forensic / correctional environment
● Visa: No visa sponsorship
Top qualifications:
● MD or DO required; Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
● Active California medical license and active California DEA.
● At least 12 months of adult psychiatry experience in the last 3 years (inpatient or high-acuity preferred).
● BLS certification and medical malpractice insurance required.
● Experience in correctional / forensic psychiatry and comfort with high-acuity, justice-involved patients.
● Familiarity with Cerner EHR.
