ThePyroGuy is a one stop shop fireplace contracting business. We install gas fireplaces, fire pit, and outdoor kitchens as well as minor plumbing, gas, electrical, framing, and misc. finish work. We are looking for an experienced tradesperson looking for year round work as well as extreme growth opportunity. The Fireplace Installer plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient installation of fireplaces within residential settings. Working primarily within small residential team or independently, this position requires a keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety standards. The role involves frequent local travel and is supported by provided tools and a work truck. Growth opportunities include cross-training in plumbing, elecgrical, and framing, as well as advancement to lead installer positions or specialization in specific fireplace types.
Responsibilities
- Install fireplaces according to safety codes and manufacturer specifications
- Prepare job sites for installation ensuring cleanliness and safety
- Comply with all relevant safety standards and regulations
- Perform chimney sweeping as part of maintenance and installation services
- Travel frequently to local residential sites for installations
- Work independently with minimal supervision within small residential teams
- Masking, Demo, and install fireplaces, fire features, and misc. work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fireplace installation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient use of hand and power tools
- Strong customer service skills
- Physical stamina to handle demanding installation tasks
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Strong time management abilities
- Must be good with heights

- 90 day trial period and then contracted employment.

Preferred Qualifications
- National Fireplace Institute (NFI) certification
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, or framing if no prior fireplace installation experience.
