We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Physical Therapist to join our education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating students to improve their physical function and quality of life. This role requires a strong ability to integrate within the interdisciplinary educational support team. The Physical Therapist will work with students ranging in ages from 3 to 22.

Duties

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student assessments and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
- Educate students and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with other educational team members to coordinate care and support in alignment with IEP goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.

Qualifications
\n

- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience working with pediatrics is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction and collaboration with students, staff, and families.
