Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Dentistry on the Blvd is looking for a talented and passionate Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team in beautiful Manhattan Beach, CA! Responsibilities:
- Assist dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and dental equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays (digital radiographs) as directed
- Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and updates in dental practice management software
- Educate patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed
- Provide a warm, welcoming experience that puts patients at ease throughout their visit
Requirements:
- Current DA or RDA certification/license in the state of California preferred
- Experience with chairside assisting in a dental office setting
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards
- Proficiency with dental X-rays and digital radiography systems
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first, compassionate demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar) a plus
