Job DescriptionAbout the Role:
Our incredible team of teachers has successfully completed the NAEYC accreditation process with top scores for the last fifteen years. Our centers enjoy an excellent reputation and offer a beautiful setting with excellent professional opportunities, wages and benefits. Our preschool teacher position is available for immediate start or an early August start date.
Position is available for either part or full time. Compensation is dependent upon length of commitment to our school, education and experience. A Child Development BA, Master Teacher, Site Supervisor or Program Director permit will be highly acknowledged.
Successful applicants will be available to work until 5:15pm daily.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred
- Minimum ECE units required per California Community Care Licensing standards
- Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
- Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
