Job DescriptionAbout the Role: Victoria Strochkova is looking for a passionate and skilled Violin Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels in San Ramon, CA. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging one-on-one or group violin lessons tailored to each student's skill level
- Teach proper technique including bowing, posture, fingering, and music theory fundamentals
- Track student progress and adjust lesson plans to meet individual learning goals
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and music examinations
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and practice expectations
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment
- Select and recommend appropriate repertoire and instructional materials
Requirements:
- Proficiency in violin performance with a strong classical music foundation
- Prior experience teaching violin to students of varying ages and skill levels
- Formal music education or degree in music performance or music education preferred
- Familiarity with multiple teaching methods (Suzuki, traditional, etc.) is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and parents
- Patient, motivating, and adaptable teaching style
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
