Position: Host/Hostess
Location: Vox kitchen-Costa Mesa, CA
Employment Type: Part-Time
Pay: $17 per hour + tips, DOE

Job Responsibilities
As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing the waitlist, seating guests, answering phone calls, assisting with reservations, and supporting the front-of-house team as needed. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay calm and organized during busy service periods.
Responsibilities Include:
- Greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
- Manage the waitlist and seating flow efficiently
- Assist with reservations and phone inquiries
- Communicate wait times clearly to guests
- Seat guests according to restaurant procedures and table availability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front entrance
- Assist servers, managers, and the front-of-house team as needed
- Provide excellent guest service and help create a welcoming dining experience
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Food Handler Card (Training Provided if Needed)
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed
