Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Maintain the yard, keep it clean, and ensure trailers are parked in an orderly manner. Assist with routine tasks as needed.
- Maintain yard and terminal grounds as directed. This includes requests to shovel snow, rake leaves, plow snow, etc.
- Ensure trailers are parked in an orderly manner.
- Assist in various departments (shop, claims, OS&D) as needed.
- Move equipment and sort/segregate trailers by type, and trans-loading freight.
- Ensure damaged equipment is noted and taken to the shop for repairs.
- Provide assistance to Drivers in locating trailers, scaling loads, etc.
- Facilitate DQP classes 1-2 days a week, including new hire paperwork, training materials, etc.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 1+ OTR experience required.
- Experience as a local driver is a plus.
- Must have a clean DMV record with no chargeable accidents/incidents in last six months.
- HSD or equivalent required.
- CDL preferred.
- Must be able to follow directions.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Must be able to evaluate and prioritize each job.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Must possess good communication skills.
Pay Range: $18.82 - $26.37 Hourly
