What a Typical Day Looks Like
Start your day operating a Class A commercial vehicle throughout the Bay Area, performing local commodity pickups and deliveries. You'll work closely with dispatch, interact with customers, complete required transportation paperwork, and ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday day-shift position, allowing you to return home daily.
Position Overview
Labor Finders is seeking an experienced Local CDL A Driver with a valid HAZMAT endorsement and TWIC card for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity serving the Bay Area. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused professionals with commercial driving experience who take pride in providing reliable service.
Responsibilities
- Perform local commodity pickups and deliveries throughout the Bay Area.
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
- Complete transportation and delivery documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Active HAZMAT endorsement.
- Valid TWIC card.
- Minimum 2–5 years of Class A driving experience.
- Ability to work a full-time Monday–Friday day-shift schedule.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
