Role Overview
Join the hospitality team at the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel & Spa. We are seeking a detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant who understands the high standards of a luxury boutique property. Unlike standard custodial work, this role requires a professional capable of managing the rigorous physical demands of our unique layout while maintaining "white-glove" cleanliness for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Suite Turnovers: Clean and service guest rooms to luxury standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing all amenities.
- Kitchenette Sanitation: Thoroughly clean kitchenettes, including stovetops, refrigerators, microwaves, and washing/drying all dishes and utensils.
- Bathroom Detail: Sanitize and scrub full bathrooms to ensure a pristine, high-hygiene environment.
- Floor & Common Area Care: Perform mopping, carpet cleaning, and hallway maintenance as assigned.
- Supply Management: Ensure linens and guest amenities are stocked and organized; manage a 15lb supply bucket throughout the shift.
- Reporting: Promptly alert management to maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of Hotel Housekeeping experience is required. Previous experience in a luxury or boutique hotel environment is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Must be comfortable navigating a property with multiple flights of stairs (limited elevator access in certain wings).
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 25lbs, carry a 15lb cleaning bucket, and remain on your feet for extended periods including bending, reaching, and kneeling.
- Attention to Detail: A "perfectionist" approach to cleanliness, specifically regarding kitchenettes and high-touch surfaces.
- Reliability: Strong time management skills to ensure rooms are turned over efficiently during busy seasons and weekends.
